Background
“Woody” brings more than 30 years of marine experience to Independence RV. Many of the luxury yacht and powerboat operating systems are similar to the Class A land yachts serviced by this Newmar Dealer. From LP gas stoves to Fan-tastic fans and vents, “Woody” is able to get a preliminary diagnosis of most RV repair issues to share with the dealership’s certified RV technicians to more quickly resolve the problem.

“Woody” grew up in the Orlando area. He resided in the Central Florida area when McCoy International Airport was still a Strategic Air Command Base. He’s had a love for hot rodding, re-building classic cars, motorcycles, and anything on wheels making a loud noise!

“I was able to assist a vacationing couple with a water heater issue on their RV. They called ahead of their visit to the dealership and we were able to diagnose the problem. They arrived here at Independence RV we found their batteries were venting very poorly. Our service technicians were able to get the heater working after we installed new batteries. The family was happy, as they were immediately able to resume their vacation.”
