The 2012 Newmar Dutch Star is presented in 9 unique floorplans, including the sporty 37 ft. model (3734.) Additional Dutch Star motor home lengths include 40 and 43 ft. where tag axles are standard equipment on all floorplans. Super-slides are available on Dutch Star motorhome floorplans 4062 and 4346. This model year features four 43 ft. plans. The Dutch Star is built on a Freightliner® chassis with independent front suspension, and a Cummins® ISL 400 hp diesel engine on 37 ft. plans and ISL 450 hp on all 40 and 43 ft. floorplans. The two-stage engine compression brake is a welcome standard feature, especially for traveling down the mountainside. An 8.0kW Onan® Quiet Diesel generator and a 2000W inverter come with all Dutch Star motorhomes. The Dutch Star RV is capable of handling 10,000 lbs. of tow vehicle with hardware. Like most Newmar motor homes attractive options abound on the Dutch Star including an Energy Management System, and one-piece fiberglass roof. The kitchen on these Newmar motorhomes may receive the upgrade to a Norcold® 12 cu. ft. refrigerator with icemaker and water. An optional exterior entertainment center in the sidewall has a 40” LCD TV which is especially convenient for tailgating. There are a number of satellite receiver options for any Newmar motorhome. When the party’s over, use the optional central vacuum system with tool kit to make clean-up a breeze. The Dutch Star by Newmar also offers power locking arms for slide-outs found on the 2012 Dutch Star.
