2012 Mountain AireThe Newmar Mountain Aire, always known for its elegance and class offers five 43’ tag axle floorplans for 2012. One floorplan (4344) is presented with a full-wall slide-out. The Mountain Aire motor home is covered by a one-piece molded fiberglass roof with 9mm decking. The Mountain Aire motorhome is positioned on a Freightliner® chassis. It is powered by a Cummins® ISL 450 HP diesel engine with two-stage engine compression brake. A 8.0 kW Onan® Quiet Series Diesel generator on a slide-out tray. Independence RV almost always orders the Mountain Aire RV with an optional upgrade to the Pure-Sine 2800W inverter with auto generator start. The Hydronic Zone Heating System is a welcome standard feature. You’ll be cool and crisp in your travels with two in-line 15M Penguin™ heat pump centrally-ducted air conditioners on all 43 ft. floorplans with a third 15M air conditioning unit available as an optional upgrade. Girard power awnings on these Newmar motor homes are positioned over the main slide on the passenger side, as well as over the windows and entrance door. The kitchen area is wonderfully appointed with Frigidaire® stainless steel convection microwave oven, two-burner stove, and a residential-size refrigerator with two-doors plus a freezer drawer, icemaker and water dispenser. Pull-out island kitchen base is standard on selected floorplans in the galley with Corian® countertops throughout all water related surfaces in the Newmar motorhome. Although the hardwood cabinets with full overlay double Cathedral cabinet doors are standard. There is no fear in the towing department, as these Newmar motorhomes are capable of handling a 15,000 lb. African elephant, should you have a need to relocate one. Optional upgrades for the Mountain Aire are plentiful, but may be floorplan dependent. Some optional features to consider include a Whirlpool® two-piece washer/dryer, Fisher & Paykel DishDrawer®, satellite dish with high definition converter, Eaton Vorad Smart Cruise System for collision avoidance, basement storage trays. Additional upgrades for consideration are polished-porcelain floor throughout the Mountain Aire luxury motor home, Corian® shower walls, power awning with wind sensor and remote control just to name a few features found on this Newmar RV.
