Independence RV Provides Orientation for Purchases

What to Expect on RV Delivery Day

The day you pick-up your RV is always an exciting one. This is termed, “delivery day,” it is your RV orientation or your intro to RV. Delivery encompasses approximately 30-60 minutes with the Independence RV Business Manager in order to complete all of the necessary paperwork to assist you with key documents for tag/vehicle registration, as well as tax collection.

In addition, Independence RV offers a personalized presentation of your Newmar RV or other manufactured brand RV with one of our on-staff Customer Relations Coordinator/After-Market Sales specialists. If you are a “first-time RVer,” please budget the following time increments based upon the type of recreational vehicle purchased:

  • Travel trailer or Fifth-Wheel – 1 ½ hours
  • Class A or Class C gas-powered motorhome – 2 hours
  • Most Class A diesel pushers – 4 hours
  • Newmar Mountain Aire diesel pusher – 6 hours

Full-time RVers will require fewer hours to become acquainted with their purchased vehicles. However, the amount of time required in the Independence RV business office will remain the same.

Reviewing Your New RV
Most presentations start outside the vehicle’s doorway on the passenger side, and proceeds around the vehicle from the rear cap to the driver’s side, front of vehicle and back to the door. Once you’ve reviewed all items on the outside, you’ll start working inside the recreational vehicle, and finish in the Parts and Accessories Store.  You will learn about Newmar Parts and Newmar Service as performed by Independence RV.
