It all started as one man’s dream…a vision on  how an RV dealership in Florida should be run…how people should be treated, and  where fair value and exceptional customer service is the foundation on which  Independence RV is built.

In early 1985, on a small one-acre leased  facility on East Colonial Drive  in Orlando, Florida, Ronnie   Jordan started bringing his vision to life as Independence RV  Sales and Service, Inc.  It was a humble  beginning to be sure, with just six employees and an inventory of ten recreational vehicles.  The Parts Department was originally operated out of a free-standing storage shed.  The Service Department consisted of an old  lean-to off the back of the building.  RV sales grew and so did the reputation of Independence RV.  There was an immediate need for expanded  facilities to house the RV parts inventory and accessories, and the RV Service  Department needed a better facility with improved service capability to handle  recreational vehicle service requests for coaches such as the Dutch Star.

Independence RV is a Newmar Authorized Factory Service Center where Newmar owners can bring their recreational vehicles for service with the confidence the vehicle will be repaired to specifications meeting or exceeding the factory's recommendation.

In 1989, Independence RV moved to its present  location on West Colonial Drive  in Winter Garden, Florida.  The five-acre facility accommodated the need for more towable RV and motor home parts and accessories.  The inventory dramatically increased with  pop-up trailers, travel trailers, fifth-wheels, and Class A motorhomes.  The current distribution agreement is in place with Newmar Corporation giving  Independence RV an impressive stable of new luxury motorhomes like the Newmar Mountain Aire, Newmar Dutch Star, Newmar Ventana and gas coaches like the Newmar Bay Star and Newmar Canyon Star. 

The first time RVer and full time RV marketplace  continues to demand more expanded capabilities from Independence RV.  As a result, Central   Florida’s largest luxury motorhome dealer is actively pursuing the  development of a state-of-the-art RV dealership.  Planning has begun on this new 22-acre site  located approximately five miles west of the current Independence RV site.  Major expansion of the Sales, Parts and  Service Departments is planned.  Please  monitor our progress on the new RV facilities by regularly checking this page.
