Newmar Quality Construction and Craftsmanship
Quality construction techniques and craftsmanship are hallmarks of Newmar recreational vehicles. Newmar RV sidewalls are designed like those of residential homes, to make them more rigid and dependable. By building aluminum frames with studs 16 inches on- center, the sidewalls and roof will form a strong, lightweight, integrated structure so the Newmar motor home with its 3” sidewalls provides superior insulation.
16” On-Center Framing
Just like residential construction, Newmar construction employs 16” on-center sidewall and roof frame techniques. This process affords Newmar the best placement of electrical outlets, switches and other components.
Protected C-Channels
C-Channel aluminum frame construction with plastic grommets rimming holes placed in the vertical aluminum studs prevents chafing of electrical wires running through the Newmar motorhome.
Sikaflex® Protection
Used throughout Newmar’s quality construction, Sikaflex elastic adhesive is one of the strongest bonding agents on the market today. It also serves as a sealant against air and water intrusion, and in addition it helps dampen both noise and vibration.

Both incoming cool air and returning warm air are effectively managed through individual ducting systems, as you can see in the diagram. This allows the system to quickly create cold air and efficiently remove warm air. Multiple vents and returns are strategically placed throughout the Newmar RV to create a true central air effect.
