New Kountry Star Diesel Pushers Available in 34 - 40-ft. Lengths
The 2024 Newmar Kountry Star diesel pusher is available in 34 to 40 ft. floor plans exclusively on a Freightliner® XCR Chassis. Each of the eight floor plans is powered by a Cummins B6.7 360HP diesel engine. All 2024 Kountry Stars have Newmar’s popular Comfort Drive™ Steering System which provides driver-friendly benefits like “auto-centering” after a 90-degree turn, as well as uneven road and wind resistance steering compensation. This makes the motorhome easier to handle while making the driver less fatigued and more relaxed on day long trips Added to the 2024 Kountry Star as a standard feature is the Tire Pressure Monitoring System to keep you abreast of tire pressure and to improve safety. All 2024 Kountry Star motorhomes will feature a new graphic design presented in three color combinations. A new optional drop-down bunk above the driver and passenger seats provides added sleeping capacity in all floor plans. The 2024 Kountry Star line offers gel coated fiberglass exterior sidewalls, front and rear caps, as well as a one-piece molded fiberglass roof with Polar Pak R19 Batten insulation.

Paint Schemes
The 2024 has three exterior color combinations for the choosing. The three Full-Masterpiece Finish paint schemes include a Clearcoat Finish, and each has Diamond Shield Protection on the front cap. The three exterior paint schemes for 2024 include “Belfast,” “Rochford,” and “Rother.”

New Highlights for the 2024 Kountry Star by Newmar
Here are some highlights of new features, upgrades and options for Newmar’s 2024 Kountry Star diesel pusher.
Option Changes
- A 34 ft. floor plan has been revised to create the new 3418 layout. It features end tables on either side of the 84” sofa, and a slightly larger and more functional mid-coach bath.
- A new, larger, and rectangular shower with a molded seat integrated into the new shower design has been included as standard in selected Kountry Star floor plans, including: 3709, 4037, 4068, and 4070.
- The Kountry Star 3426 floor plan will feature a new swing door on the half bath.
- Slight modifications have been made to the 2024 Kountry Star floor plans to accommodate an optional new drop-down bunk offered above the driver and passenger seats.
- Tire Pressuring Monitoring System (TPS) will be a standard feature for 2024.
- 40 ft. Kountry Stars will feature 295/80R22.5 tires on all 2024 models.
- 37 ft. Kountry Star models will provide a 9-inch wheel rim in 2024.
- The Kountry Star has a new exterior graphic design in three color combinations.
- There is a running change to update and replace all baggage seals to match the seals found on the Newmar Dutch Star, resulting in less slamming of baggage compartment doors.
- A new interior décor option entitled, “Yukon,” is introduced in 2024.
- The “Ansel” and “Baja” décor packages are carried over for the 2024 model year. The décor names for these two offerings, however, have been changed to “Brunswick,” and “Manitoba” due to vinyl flooring design changes in both décor packages.
- The standard dinette in the Kountry Star 4070 floor plan will be a non-sleeper for 2024. It will provide a Euro-booth table with an extendable top and two extra folding chairs to accommodate dining for up to four people. Additionally, this was accomplished to provide adequate seat belt locations for the new “cabover” bunk option.
- A new rectangular fiberglass shower and glass door have been developed for the 3709, 4037, 4068, and 4070 floor plans.
- The window behind the television (with power lift) on the 3709 and 3717 floor plans is larger. The window height increases from 22” to 29.”
- The wheelchair accessible model (4011) has a former option of a television (on a power lift) with a fireplace behind the passenger’s seat. This is now a standard feature for this model.
- The charging port in the dash area provides USB and USB-C connections.
- The breaker boxes in the Kountry Star 3426 and 3717 models have been moved from the front overhead to the rear wardrobe. This interior design modification accommodates the optional feature for drop down bunks above the front driver and passenger seats.
Option Changes
- A new vinyl plank flooring material will be offered to coordinate with the “Glacier Glazed Maple” woodgrain.
- The optional Winegard Traveler satellite dish will have an auto stow feature which will automatically stow when the parking brake is released. This will only work when 120-Volt power is available (i.e., the inverter is “on,” the generator is running, or the Kountry Star is connected to shore power).
- A new option for a drop-down bunk over the driver and passenger seats has been developed for the 2024 model year. The new option (K890) is available on all floor plans, except the wheelchair accessible plan (4011), which also offers the drop-down bunk with the (K900) option.
- A new 68” theater seat is available on the 3717 floor plan for 2024.
2024 KOUNTRY STAR FEATURE LIST
The 2024 Kountry Star offers the Freightliner XCR Chassis as standard equipment, and it is combined with the reliable Cummins B6.7 360HP diesel engine. The Kountry Star driver’s seat has a haptic vibration feature to alert the driver to the vehicle’s lane departure with the standard Mobile Eye Lane Tracking and Departure Warning System. The interior of the 2024 Kountry Star is presented with deluxe Villa Comfort Fit furniture throughout the living room available in various configurations—from a jackknife or hide-a-bed sofa to recliners to theater seats and even more. A pair of Penguin™ heat pump air conditioners keep things comfortable as part of the Newmar-exclusive Total Comfort™ system, and you can pass the time with the LED TV and Bose® speakers.
